Traffic has come to a grinding halt on the M25’s QE2 Bridge at Dartford tonight. Reports of a person on the bridge have forced both Essex and Kent Police to slam the brakes on the entire crossing in both directions.

Official Statement
A Highways England spokesperson said: “We were informed of a police-led incident at around 8.19pm Thursday evening. Traffic has now been stopped in both directions whilst officers deal with the incident.”
