Tragic End to Weymouth Search: Missing Man Found Dead
Body Found in Woods Believed to Be Colum Siddons
Police searching for missing Weymouth man Colum Siddons have sadly found a body. The 33-year-old was reported missing at noon on Monday, 27 August 2018. He was last seen at his home on Minton Place around 8am that day.
Officers scoured the area all afternoon, evening, and through the night. Earlier today, a body was discovered in nearby woodland. While formal identification has not yet taken place, police believe it to be Colum. His family has been informed.
No Suspicion Around Death
Detectives say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. The coroner has been notified and is investigating the tragic case.
