Scaffolding Collapses on London Bus in North West London
This evening (January 4), chaos hit Willesden High Road after scaffolding from a building collapsed onto a London bus. The wreckage came crashing down near Dudden Hill Lane and Hawthorn Road, causing major disruption.
Road Shut, Bus Routes Disrupted
Police and fire crews rushed to the scene, quickly sealing off Willesden High Road. The scaffolding was left teetering dangerously on top of the stationary bus, sparking long delays for drivers and passengers alike.

No Injuries Reported, Roads Reopened
At 5.56 p.m. on January 4, police were called after scaffolding collided with a bus in High Road, near the intersection with Strode Road NW10,” a Met Police spokesperson confirmed. “There have been no reported injuries. Roads were later reopened.”
The dramatic incident caused major headaches for commuters but, thankfully, no one was hurt.
