Fire Erupts on Glendower Crescent

A fierce fire tore through a second-floor flat on Glendower Crescent, Bromley, early on October 18. The London Fire Brigade sprang into action after receiving a 999 call at 9.21am.

Massive Firefighter Response

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Orpington, Sidcup, and Bromley rushed to the scene. The blaze partially destroyed a three-room flat in the three-storey building, prompting a rapid emergency response.

Residents Escape, One Treated for Smoke Inhalation

Seven adults escaped the burning property before fire crews arrived. Sadly, one suffered smoke inhalation and was treated on-site by emergency services.

Fire Brought Under Control, Investigation Underway

The fire was declared under control by 10.11am. Authorities are now investigating the cause of the blaze. The London Fire Brigade thanked locals for their cooperation and urged everyone to keep smoke alarms in working order to stay safe.
