Two lorries were completely gutted by flames during a fierce fire that also damaged another lorry and four loading bays.
120 workers make narrow escape
Some 120 staff evacuated the building safely before fire crews arrived at the scene, avoiding a potential disaster.
Fire Brigade battle blaze for nearly two hours
The Brigade was called at 6.39 pm and got the fire under control by 8.35 pm. Firefighters from East Greenwich, Greenwich, Deptford, Plumstead, and Poplar were deployed.
Investigation underway
The cause of the fire remains unknown as investigators comb through the damage.
