If you’re travelling clockwise on the M25, you must follow the ‘hollow triangle’ diversion signs. Here’s the route to take:

1. Exit the M25 at Junction 29 onto the A127 towards Southend.
2. Take the exit onto the A128 at ‘Halfway House’ and head towards Tilbury.
3. At the ‘Orsett Cock’ roundabout, take the 5th exit onto the A13 towards London.
4. Continue on the A13 to re-join the M25 at Junction 30.
