Diversion Routes in Place
Follow the solid triangle signs to navigate around the closure:
- Exit the M5 northbound at Junction 11 and take the first exit onto the A40 westbound.
- Follow the A40 to the Gloucester roundabout with the A417, then take the third exit onto the A417 northbound.
- Continue along the A417 to M50 Junction 2, then turn right to join the M50 eastbound.
- Follow the M50 eastbound to M5 Junction 8, where you can rejoin the M5 northbound and continue your journey.
If your route is affected, expect delays. Plan ahead, consider re-routing or postponing your trip to avoid being stuck in traffic.
