Man Dies After Horror Head Injury at Hayling Island Restaurant

A man from Hayling Island has died following a serious head injury at the Gandhi Restaurant on Hollow Lane, South Hayling. Ambulance crews rushed to the scene at around 1am on Saturday, 4 November. The victim, aged 65, was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham but tragically died just before 10am that morning.

Three Men Arrested Over Suspicious Death

Police arrested three men aged 32, 34, and 37 on suspicion of murder. The 34-year-old has since been released but remains a person of interest as investigations continue.

Detectives are urging anyone who ate at the Gandhi Restaurant on the evening of 3 November and hasn’t yet spoken to police to come forward. Authorities believe there may be vital information that could assist the investigation.
