Man in His 50s Killed on M3 After Being Hit by Lorry
A horrific crash on the M3 has left a man in his 50s dead after he was struck by a heavy lorry. The tragic smash unfolded shortly before 1:30pm on Wednesday.
Collision Between Audi and BMW Ends in Disaster
The incident involved a blue Audi Q5 and a blue BMW 320D. Both drivers pulled over onto the hard shoulder of the northbound carriageway near Junction 5. The BMW driver, from Bracknell, stepped out of his car – and was fatally hit by a lorry.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene but sadly, the man died of his injuries at once. His family have since been informed of the heartbreaking news.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are desperate for any witnesses who saw the collision or the vehicles just before the crash. Officers are especially keen to review any dashcam footage that could shed light on the fatal incident.
