- Expect diversions on some central London bus routes from mid-afternoon on New Year’s Eve due to celebrations and road closures.
- A handful of daytime bus routes will keep running through the night to keep London moving.
Elizabeth Line Runs All Night — Minus Heathrow
- The Elizabeth Line will operate throughout New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day, but there will be no service to Heathrow Airport.
Night Owls Rejoice: DLR & Tube All Night
- Docklands Light Railway (DLR) runs non-stop all night for party-goers heading home.
- The Tube will also be on the move all night, but this year, travel won’t be free — so keep your Oyster or contactless ready.
London Overground: Partial Service and Overnight Lines
- No trains on the London Overground between Liverpool Street and London Fields (Weaver Line).
- Overnight service runs on:
- Windrush Line: Highbury & Islington to West Croydon/Crystal Palace
- Mildmay Line: Stratford to Clapham Junction/Richmond
- Weaver Line: London Fields to Chingford, Enfield Town, and Cheshunt
