Blaze at River Medway Marina: Two Hurt as Boats Go Up in Flames
Chaos erupted around midday today at a marina on Hampstead Lane by the River Medway. Several boats caught fire, sending plumes of smoke into the sky.
Emergency services rushed to the scene. One person was treated for burns, another for smoke inhalation. Both were quickly taken to hospital for further care.
