Crash Chaos on Newport Outskirts
Emergency crews rushed to a two-car smash at the junction of Blackwater Road and Ventor Road near Newport this afternoon. Hampshire police and Isle of Wight paramedics arrived just after 2pm on Friday to tackle the scene.
Several Hurt but No Serious Injuries
A number of people were involved, but thankfully, no one appears seriously hurt. Paramedics are currently checking over the passengers and drivers.
Traffic Jam Builds as Drivers Creep Past
Both directions are crawling with traffic as motorists approach the crash site. The vehicles have been moved to the roadside to keep the road as clear as possible.
