Why the Warning?

The fog is forecast to lift by dawn in some places but will stick around a corridor from Southwest England right through the Midlands into Yorkshire until late Thursday morning.
Stay Safe on the Roads
- Use fog lights when visibility drops below 100 metres, but switch them off promptly as visibility improves to avoid blinding other drivers.
- Slow down and keep extra distance between vehicles.
- Check with your rail and air carriers for the latest travel updates.
