Tragic Hit-and-Run Shuts Down Wandsworth Road

Police Appeal for Witnesses After Fatal Hit-and-Run
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 10.49pm on Monday, 20 March to Wandsworth Road SW8 following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian. A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support.”
The driver fled the scene and police are urgently hunting for the vehicle involved. A crime scene remains in place as detectives piece together what happened.
