At 8.20pm on Tuesday, fire crews raced to a blazing lorry fire on London Road, St Ives. Over 20 firefighters from Huntingdon, Papworth, Gamlingay, Cambridge, and Ramsey, including a water carrier, tackled the fierce flames head-on.

Arriving to a well-developed inferno, crews donned breathing apparatus and doused the fire with hose reels. Thankfully, no one was injured or needed treatment.
