Police have launched a frantic hunt for 54-year-old Stephen after his blue Mazda 3 was found abandoned by a field on the Ridgeway path, right on the Berkshire border near Southfield, Aldworth.
Stephen hasn’t been seen since, sparking fears for his safety. Thames Valley Police say they are “extremely concerned” as they scramble to find him.
Search Intensifies Along Ridgeway
Stephen, described as 5ft 11in, slim, possibly wearing blue or black jeans, an open-necked shirt, walking coat, boots and carrying a backpack, was last seen near a popular walking route.
Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue (BLSAR) have joined officers combing the area, with a heavy police presence expected over the coming days.
“We are doing everything we can to locate Stephen and ensure he is safe. If you have seen anyone matching his description or witnessed anything unusual in the area recently, please get in touch. Even the smallest detail could help.” – Police Spokesperson
