Urgent Hunt Underway for Missing Man Last Seen at East London Hospital
Police have launched a desperate search for Aleks Abutayun, 29, who vanished after leaving Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone at around 5pm on Monday, 19 May 2025.
Who Is Aleks Abutayun?
- White male, around 5ft 8in tall
- Medium build with short dark hair and a beard
- Last spotted wearing a grey cardigan, green trainers, and brown chino trousers
Police Issue Welfare Warning
The Metropolitan Police say they are growing increasingly worried about Aleks’ safety. Officers warn the public not to approach him under any circumstances. Instead, report any sightings immediately by calling 999.
Where to Look?
Aleks is known to have connections to Hollow Ponds, Epping Forest, and the wider Waltham Forest area. Residents living nearby are urged to be vigilant.
