Urgent Search Underway for Missing West Sussex Mum
Police are growing increasingly worried for Rebecca Holdham, a 38-year-old mother of two, who vanished without a trace on Sunday morning. Known as Becky to her mates, she was last seen at her home on the Park Estate in Ockley, Hassocks, West Sussex.
Children Come Home to Empty House
Becky’s kids returned Sunday to find their mum missing, sparking frantic calls to friends and family. Search parties from the local village have been scrambled to help find her.
Friends Fear the Worst
“We have no idea if she left willingly or something worse happened,” said Becky’s best friend Kerry Malby. “Becky is a devoted mum—this is totally out of character. It’s like she vanished into thin air. I don’t understand why she wouldn’t call me. The kids weren’t left alone; they found their mum gone. We just want her safe at home. Every morning without news is heartbreaking.”

It’s unclear what Becky was wearing when she disappeared. Sussex Police say she has connections in Burgess Hill, Horsham, Worthing, Devon, and Dorset.
Detective Inspector Chris May said: “Our concern for Rebecca’s welfare is growing. We urge anyone who has seen or heard from her since Sunday morning to come forward immediately. We are carrying out extensive searches, house-to-house checks, and scouring CCTV and doorbell cameras. Residents will notice extra police patrols while we hunt for her.”
