A34 Closed in Hampshire After Two-Car Crash

The A34 northbound in Hampshire is shut between the A33 (Abbots Worthy) and the A303 (Bullington Cross) following a two-vehicle collision. One car has veered off the road and ended up down an embankment. Emergency crews are on the scene, so the road remains closed.

Major Diversion in Place

Drivers heading north should follow the solid diamond diversion symbol. Instead of the A34, continue north on the M3 and leave at Junction 7 for Basingstoke. At the roundabout, switch to the M3 southbound, then exit at Junction 8 to join the A303 westbound.

Where to Rejoin the A34

  • Rejoin the A34 at Bullington Cross, or
  • Stay on the A303 and continue west.

Expect delays and plan your journey carefully.
