Man Critically Injured in Edgware Hit-and-Run Crash

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a serious road collision in Edgware left a 48-year-old motorcyclist fighting for his life.

Crash Details: Mercedes Hits Motorbike at Traffic Lights

The smash happened just before 9pm on Friday, January 5. A black Mercedes was travelling south on the A5/West Hendon Broadway when it turned right at the traffic lights into Cool Oak Lane. It collided with a northbound Kawasaki motorbike which then smashed into a lamppost.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police, London Ambulance Service, and the Fire Brigade arrived swiftly. The motorbike rider suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

The Mercedes driver has spoken with officers, but no arrests have been made. Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward. This could be crucial to piecing together what happened.
