Four-Car Smash on A259 Leaves Two Seriously Injured – Police Hunt Witnesses
Chaos on Greavatts Lane
Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a serious four-vehicle crash on the A259 Greavatts Lane in Climping. The smash happened around 5.30pm on Tuesday, 14 May, causing major disruption and injuries.
Who Was Involved?
The crash involved a silver and black Mitsubishi L200, a white Volkswagen Transporter, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, and a silver Nissan Juke. The 26-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi and a 60-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Nissan both suffered serious injuries. They were rushed to hospital and remain under medical care. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
Emergency Response and Road Closure
Emergency services quickly attended the scene. The road was temporarily closed for recovery work and a detailed investigation. Thankfully, the A259 has since reopened to traffic.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
