Man Charged with Manslaughter After Notting Hill Death

Police have charged Serhiy Pelykh, 22, with manslaughter following the death of a man in Notting Hill. The Ukrainian national from Brentford was arrested on 20 June and charged the next day.

Uxbridge Court Appearance and Next Steps

Pelykh appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on 22 June and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at the Central Criminal Court on 19 July.

Victim Named as Stepan Suslyk

The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Stepan Suslyk, also originally from Ukraine and residing in Brentford. He was rushed to a north London hospital on 16 June after suffering a head injury in the early hours on Holland Park Avenue, W11.

Mr Suslyk died two days later. A post-mortem at Fulham mortuary confirmed blunt head trauma as the cause of death.
