Arrests Made, But Suspects Released

Three people were arrested on suspicion of murder but have since been released on bail as investigations carry on. Detective Superintendent Paul Kessell said:

“Although the body has yet to be formally identified, we are confident that we have found Gaia. Her family has been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers. Our thoughts remain with all of her family and friends at this very traumatic time.”

Community in Shock as Search Ends

The popular teenager’s disappearance gripped the Dorset community, sparking an intense search effort. The confirmation of the body brings a tragic closure but leaves many questions as police continue their inquiries.
