Teenager And Want To Give Something Back To Your Community

Teenager and want to give something back to your Community

Volunteer police cadets, aged between 13 and 17 years, attend weekly sessions and commit to volunteer for at least three hours per month. Here is an example of their voluntary work, the Petersfield Police Cadets recently assisted Radian Housing by getting involved in planting at Durrants Gardens, in Rowlands Castle. Last month the cadets also went out in the snow to fundraise for Challengers, a local charity organisation that runs groups for young peoples with physical or mental disabilities. They raised over £100 for the charity. The cadet scheme provides a safe environment where young people can learn as individuals, develop positive relationships with the police and actively support the community.
