Fire in restaurant’s ventilation system in Chelsea

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a restaurant with flats above in King’s Road, Chelsea on Thursday Afternoon. Most of the restaurant’s ventilation system was damaged by fire. The Brigade was called at just after 3.30pm and the fire was under control at just after 5.30pm. Fire crews from Chelsea, Battersea, Fulham, and Hammersmith fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
