Couple attacked in Southsea
In the early hours of Saturday (7 July) a 19-year old woman and a 22-year-old man were assaulted on the junction of Elm Grove and Castle Road in Southsea. Sometime between 1.50am and 2.20am the couple were approached by two women and a man, who briefly spoke to the couple before allegedly assaulting them. The couple managed to leave the scene and walked off in to Castle Road. The two women then returned with two different men, one of whom allegedly assaulted the man. They then left the scene in a car. The two men who assaulted the man are described as: Man one White About 18-19-years-old 5’ 9” tall Heavy build – about 20 stone Short blonde hair He was wearing an orange polo shirt Man two White About 20-30-years-old Slim build He was wearing a blue t-shirt We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed either of the assaults in Elm Grove or Castle Road, or anyone who has information.
