Teen Stabbed on Bus in Barnet: Police Hunt for Witnesses

A 19-year-old man was stabbed aboard a route 134 bus in Barnet, leaving him in critical condition. Police launched an urgent appeal for information after the attack on Saturday, 9 March.

Stabbing on Colney Hatch Lane Bus

At 4:41pm, emergency services rushed to Colney Hatch Lane, Muswell Hill, following reports of a stabbing. The victim suffered a stab wound to the chest while on the bus. He was airlifted to an east London hospital, where he remains critically ill but stable.

Teen Arrested Over Attempted Murder

Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently in custody at an east London police station pending further enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Jon Deans said: “There is a young man in hospital in a very serious condition and we are working hard to establish how he came to be attacked.”
