Five year old boy on pushbike dies following fatal Collision in Knaphill

Officers from Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision where a child sadly died in Knaphill yesterday (Wednesday, 26 March). Police were called to Limecroft Road at 4.10pm after a collision between a five-year-old boy on a bicycle and a van, which stopped at the scene. The boy, who was from the local area, did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased in hospital. His next of kin were present. An investigation into the incident is ongoing and no arrests have been made. The road was closed while officers carried out on-scene investigations but has since reopened.
