Paedo Jailed for Sex Attack on Teen Girl Bus
A vile sex attacker has been locked up for groping a 14-year-old girl on a packed London bus.
Pervert Strikes on Busy Bus in Wood Green
Lloyd Weekes, 57, with no fixed address, was sentenced to two years behind bars at Wood Green Crown Court last Thursday. The sick incident happened on February 26, 2018, aboard the Route W3 bus cutting through Haringey.
The schoolgirl was travelling with a friend when Weekes started touching her inappropriately. She bravely confronted him before escaping and reporting the attack to police.
Policeman’s Sharp Eye Cracks Case
The Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command led the investigation. A Detective Constable recognised Weekes from CCTV images shared among officers, leading to his arrest and charge.
He admitted guilt on February 8, 2019, revealing a history of similar abuses on the London Underground.
