Cowes Lifeboat sent to investigate boat in difficulties
Cowes RNLI were scrambled by the UK Coastguard to Totland Bay earlier this evening (Tuesday). The ‘Sheena Louise’ Atlantic 85 lifeboat was already on the water and deemed to be the nearest asset, the volunteer crew members were asked to investigate. Cowes Lifeboat proceeded at best speed to the area and conducted a search of the bay, but after a thorough search nothing was found.
