Cowes RNLI Launches Search in Totland Bay – Nothing Found
Cowes RNLI was scrambled to Totland Bay this Tuesday evening after an alert from the UK Coastguard. The volunteer crew aboard the ‘Sheena Louise’ Atlantic 85 lifeboat, already on the water, rushed to investigate as the closest available rescue team.
Thorough Search Comes Up Empty
The lifeboat raced at full speed to the scene and scoured the bay carefully. Despite a detailed sweep, the crew found no sign of the reported incident. The search was called off shortly before 9pm, with the lifeboat returning safely to Cowes at 8:55pm.
