Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Ramane Wiggan in Lambeth have made a sixth arrest. A 22-year-old male was arrested on Thursday, 13 June on suspicion of assisting an offender and taken to London police station for questioning. Detectives are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses following the murder of Ramane. Police were called at 16:11hrs on Wednesday, 27 March by the London Ambulance Service to reports of a man in a critical condition on Friar Mews in West Norwood. Officers and paramedics attended. At the scene Ramane, who lived in Tulse Hill, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at 4.45pm. A post-mortem examination held at Greenwich Mortuary on Friday, 28 March found the provisional cause of death to be a gunshot wound. Two 27-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday, 27 March and later released with no further action. On Wednesday, 24 April, a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been bailed to return on a date in late July. On Thursday, 2 May, a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder; he has been bailed to a date in early August. A woman, aged 43, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender; she has been released under investigation.
