Beware! Dodgy ‘Roofer’ Caught Stealing from Elderly Man in Havant

Elderly residents in Havant have been warned after a shameless thief posing as a roofer ripped off an 83-year-old man in Middle Park Way on Tuesday, July 2.

The scammer knocked on the pensioner’s door, claiming the roof was damaged and needed urgent fixing. But the man quickly barged inside, snatched the victim’s wallet and some loose change from drawers, and made off.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged 35-45, around six foot tall, and of average build.
