Man Arrested After Fatal Stabbing in Dagenham
Stabbing Shock in Marlborough Road
A man in his 40s was found stabbed to death in a terrifying incident in Dagenham on Saturday night. Police rushed to a Marlborough Road home at 10.10pm after London Ambulance Service reported a stabbing.
Victim Dies at the Scene
Officers discovered the victim suffering from life-threatening stab wounds. Despite desperate efforts from emergency services, he was pronounced dead at 10.39pm.
Woman Injured, But Survives
A woman in her 50s was also found injured at the scene. She was treated on-site before being taken to hospital. Authorities say her injuries are not life-threatening.
Suspect in Custody
A 59-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. Police believe the victim and suspect knew each other. Next of kin have been informed, and the investigation is ongoing.
