Man in His 70s Critically Injured in Cranbrook Collision

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a man in his 70s was left fighting for life in Cranbrook.

Serious Crash in Sandhurst

The shocking incident occurred just before 1:25pm on Monday, 2 March 2020, on Rye Road, Sandhurst. The pensioner was struck in a collision with a Volkswagen Transporter.

He knew the driver involved and was quickly airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition remains critical.

Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Inspector Garry Cook, from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, urged anyone with dashcam footage or information to come forward immediately.

“I am keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage relating to this incident or any information that may help us with our enquiries,” he said.
