Sex Beast Colin Cooley Jailed for 18 Years Over Decades of Child Abuse

Colin Cooley, a homeless predator, was slammed with an 18-year prison sentence today at Manchester Crown Square Crown Court. The vile criminal pleaded guilty to multiple sex crimes against three young boys spanning over 16 years.

Horrific Abuse Spanning 1994-2010

Cooley’s depravity included four counts of rape, five counts of penetrative sex acts with children, five counts of indecent assault, five of gross indecency, and five sexual assaults. His victims were boys under ten years old when the abuse started, in the Moston and Crumpsall areas of Greater Manchester.

The torment stretched from forced pornography watching to Cooley performing and coercing sexual acts on the children. The third victim endured repeated rape over a horrifying three-year period.

Police Praise Victims’ Courage

Detective Constable Sarah Austin said: “I want to commend the bravery and courage of the three men who came forward to report the abuse inflicted on them. Their cooperation helped secure Cooley’s conviction.”

“This heinous abuse spanned more than a decade. Cooley showed no regard for the lifelong damage he caused.”

“Greater Manchester Police is determined to make sure anyone exploiting children faces justice. I hope these men can now move on knowing Cooley is locked away for 18 years.”
