Smoke Sparks Fire Alarm at The Shard
Fire crews from across London rushed to The Shard last night after smoke was spotted billowing from the 34th floor.
Multiple Fire Engines Scramble to Scene
Just after 5.30pm on Sunday, several fire appliances were dispatched following an automatic fire alarm. Eyewitnesses reported smoke pouring out of a window near the top of the iconic skyscraper on London Bridge.
Building Evacuated as Firefighters Investigate
The Shard was promptly evacuated while crews worked to locate the source of the smoke. Firefighters continue to probe the situation, with no further details released yet.
