Man Arrested After Woman Fatally Stabbed at Greenwich Holiday Inn
A man has been arrested following a fatal stabbing at a Greenwich hotel.
Police rushed to the Holiday Inn on Bugsby’s Way, SE10, at 10:02am on Sunday, 5 July after reports of a stabbing. Officers and the London Ambulance Service found a woman with serious injuries. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Falls From Height, Now in Critical Condition
A man in his 30s, believed to be known to the victim, fell from a height at the scene. He was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition. Despite this, he has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Investigation Underway, Police Seek Witnesses
Specialist Crime detectives have launched a full investigation. Officers currently believe no other individuals were involved. A crime scene remains in place as inquiries continue.
Police are in the process of informing the victim’s next of kin. Formal identification has yet to be confirmed.
