Man and Teenagers Nabbed After Alleyway Robbery in Strood
A man and two teenage boys were arrested following a brazen robbery in Strood on Monday evening.
Victim Threatened and Punched in Narrow Alley
At around 6:45pm on 6 July 2020, a teenage boy walking along Station Road was grabbed by three suspects and dragged into a nearby alley. The victim was threatened and punched before one of the attackers snatched his body warmer.
Quick Police Response Leads to Arrests Near Train Station
Kent Police swiftly arrived at the scene and launched a search in the area. They located three individuals matching the suspects’ descriptions close to the train station, along with the stolen jacket.
Suspects Arrested and Released on Bail
- An 18-year-old man and two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
- All three have been released on police bail until 29 July while inquiries continue.
