Six fire crews along with a HazMat officer have been scrambled to tackle a blaze on that has broken out on the Hare street in Woolwich late on Saturday evening.
Crews were scrambled to the First Choice cafe just before midnight. The road has been closed in both directions to assist with fire fighting activities. Drivers are being advised to seek alternative routes.
It’s also understood that crews from the LFB may also be taking a second four pump fire at the Turkish Restaurant on Woolwich High Street.
It is unclear if the two incident is connecting in any way.
