Kent Police have closed the M2 motorway in both directions between Bluebell Hill near Maidstone and Gillingham following a life changing collision.
The collision took place just before 1pm on Tuesday.
The closure is likely to be in place for a number of hours drivers are being advised to seek alternative routes
Kent Police have been approached for comment
