Three Weeks On, Police Still Hunting George’s Mum

Detectives have been on the trail of baby George’s mother for exactly three weeks today (13 May). Little George was found alone on The Mounds, off Shannon Road in Kings Norton, at 5.40pm on Thursday 22 April.

Special Police Image Released to Find Woman

Police have released a specially created image of a woman, crafted by Thames Valley Police experts after speaking to a key witness. Officers are urging anyone who recognises her, or knows who George’s mum is, to come forward.

Baby George is safe, healthy, and being well cared for by his foster family. But police remain deeply concerned for his mother’s wellbeing—both physical and mental.

Detective Inspector Pleads: “I’m Worried About You”

“Once again, I really want to reach out to George’s mother as you are my concern. I’m worried about you and I need to make sure you are safe and well,” said Detective Inspector Neil Hunt, leading the hunt.

“We’ve not issued this image lightly or to scare you. We just want to find you so we can talk, check you’re okay, and offer any help or support you might need.”

The woman is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, with a medium to large build. At the time, she wore a light grey zipped hoodie and jogging bottoms, and may have had her hair in a low ponytail.
