Man, 25, Arrested Over Terrorism Allegations in East London
Early Morning Arrest
A 25-year-old man was snapped up by cops on the morning of Wednesday, 14 July, at an east London address. He’s suspected of encouraging terrorism under Section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Under Watchful Eye
Held under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE), he was hauled to a London police station for questioning. The probe zeroes in on Islamist material reportedly shared online.
Investigation Ongoing
The man has been bailed to a date in August as detectives carry on with their enquiries. The case remains very much open.
