Stabbing and Drug Arrests Shake Kent Street
Kent Police rushed to Lowfield Street at around 6pm on Saturday 17 July 2021 after reports of a violent disturbance.
Crash Sparks Brutal Brawl
A white Nissan Qashqai smashed into roadside furniture before two men jumped out and started fighting. During the scuffle, one man suffered an injury consistent with a stab wound.
Victim Arrested Over Class A Drugs
Shockingly, the injured man – a 20-something from Erith – was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He was rushed to a London hospital, where he remains stable.
More Arrests and Police Assaults
- Two other London men, aged 20s and 30s, were also detained over drug offences.
- Several officers were assaulted while responding.
- Two suspects had to be tasered due to aggressive behaviour.
- A fourth man involved in the stabbing remains at large as police hunt him down.
