Jewellery was snatched from an elderly woman’s house in Gillingham, sparking a police hunt for witnesses.

The break-in happened between 1pm and 5pm on Wednesday 18 August 2021. The victim, a woman in her 80s, returned to find her home ransacked and precious jewellery missing.

Police Seek Red-and-Black Lumberjack Shirt Suspect

Officers want to trace a white man spotted near the scene, described as wearing a red and black lumberjack shirt. They’re also keen to speak to the occupants of a blue Volkswagen Golf seen parked in Broadview Avenue around the time of the theft.
