“The county is undoubtedly a great place to live and work, and we are proud to be a part of that by serving our communities and ensuring our residents are safe,” said Chief Constable Craig Guildford.
“Nottinghamshire offers so much – culture, outdoor spaces, nightlife, jobs, education. There really is something for everyone, so it’s only right we celebrate that.”
“As Chief Constable and local resident, it was a pleasure to join the official celebrations and raise the flag today.”
Police and Crime Commissioner Joins the Celebration
“It was a privilege to attend the flag raising at County Hall for our first ever county day,” said Nottinghamshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, who was born and raised in the area.
“I’m honoured to serve Nottinghamshire and will keep working to make it safe by tackling the police and crime priorities that matter to you.”
“Having a dedicated day to celebrate Nottinghamshire is only fitting – it truly is the best county!”
