Police are hunting witnesses after a terrifying robbery in Haywards Heath left a man seriously injured.

Four Men Attack Victim on Perrymount Road

The victim was strolling along Perrymount Road around 1.15am on Sunday, December 4 when at least four men confronted him. They demanded his phone, wallet, and other valuables.

He refused, sparking a vicious assault that left him with serious but non-life-threatening injuries requiring hospital treatment.

Thieves Make Off With Keys, Phone, Glasses, and Jacket

The gang fled the scene with the victim’s keys, glasses, mobile phone, and jacket. Police discovered the glasses dumped near The Star pub on Perrymount Road.

Police Urge Anyone With Info To Come Forward

Sussex Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack or was in the area at the time.
