Blaze Rips Through Hampstead Home in Dead of Night
Chaos broke out in West Heath Road, Hampstead, as eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters raced to tackle a fierce house fire in the early hours today.
Roof Collapses, Loft Conversion Destroyed
Half the roof and the entire loft conversion were gutted by flames, with part of the roof collapsing under the heat. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
Firefighters Gain Upper Hand Within Hours
The London Fire Brigade was alerted at 12:25am and brought the blaze under control by 2:48am. Crews from Willesden, Hendon, West Hampstead, and other nearby stations swung into action to douse the inferno.
Cause of Fire Remains a Mystery
Investigators are now probing the origin of the devastating fire.
