Last night, chaos erupted on Burford Road, East Ham, as four fire engines and around 25 firefighters scrambled to contain a house fire. The blaze gutted half of the ground floor of a terraced house, sparking panic among neighbours.

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident. The London Fire Brigade’s 999 Control Officers handled 10 emergency calls about the blaze.
Fast Response Brings Fire Under Control
The call came in at 7:34pm, with crews from Plaistow, East Ham, and Barking arriving pronto. Firefighters had the flames under control by 8:10pm, preventing further damage to the property.
