Five Arrested After Early Morning Dartford Protest Shuts Business Access

Chaos at Littlebrook Business Centre

Traffic was snarled as more than 20 protesters blocked entrances to a Dartford business site at the crack of dawn. Officers were called to the scene at 4:24am on Friday, 26 November after demonstrators obstructed access roads.

Protesters Lock Themselves to Structures

Some protesters chain-locked themselves to concrete and wooden structures, totally blocking two entrances. Police moved in and arrested five individuals on suspicion of aggravated trespass.

Scene Cleared, Business Resumes

The rest of the crowd dispersed by 2:30pm, allowing traffic and operations to return to normal. Officers worked closely with business managers and partner agencies to keep disruption to a minimum.

Those Arrested Released on Bail

The five taken into custody have now been released on bail, with investigations ongoing until 24 December.
