Police Brutally Attacked in Nottingham Rumble – Four Arrested
Police officers called to a late-night brawl on Nottingham’s Clumber Street were violently kicked and shoved, leaving them bruised but unbowed.
Assault on Emergency Workers
Just before 3.30 a.m. on Friday, officers responded to reports of a fight. During the chaotic scene, several were assaulted while trying to restore order. Four suspects were arrested following the outbreak of violence.
Who’s Been Caught?
- Jadakiss Ancel-Samms, 19, from St Ann’s, faces three counts of assault by beating on emergency workers. She’s out on unconditional bail and will appear in Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on July 7.
- A 19-year-old woman was also arrested for affray and two counts of assaulting police but later released on conditional bail.
- An 18-year-old woman is suspected of common assault on a first responder and received a conditional caution.
- A 21-year-old man was held for affray and released on conditional bail.

“This incident shows the challenges our officers face daily,” said Sergeant Sue Farren of Nottinghamshire Police. “Violence against police will not be tolerated, and we will act swiftly against troublemakers.”
“Thankfully, no officer was seriously hurt, only suffering bruises and discomfort.”
“Police are here to help, not to be attacked for doing their job.”
“We urge anyone who witnessed the fight or has footage to come forward.”
